Plasmatique steps into the spotlight with “GAME ON,” a bold new release that captures her blend of emotion, power, and melodic intensity. In this interview for Techno Station TV, she opens up about her journey, creative vision, and what’s next on her path through the global electronic scene.
“GAME ON” feels like a powerful and confident statement. What does this release represent for you personally and artistically?
When you say “Game on” it means accepting the challenge, giving your all to achieve the goal, to win. In this case, getting the people on the dance floor moving, to feel the moment, to embrace the crowd connection through the music. The right time to turn dreams into reality is here and now.
The track carries a lot of emotional depth while maintaining strong club energy. How do you approach balancing those two sides in your music?
The point is to bring emotions through my music so that people can enjoy it in private, for example while jogging, in the car, etc. but also on the dance floor. Because it is precisely emotion that makes us react – move, dance, laugh.
How did you first get into electronic music, and what inspired you to start producing and DJing?
Once my friends called me to a concert of a famous DJ. I was captivated by it, I became a big fan of electronic music and my dream was to be on the other side one day – a DJ, entertaining people. But in Slovakia there weren’t many options to make it happen. A few years later I met an amazing person and producer in Germany, Thomas Helmich, we became good friends and later partners in the studio and in life. And during the epidemic we also started to focus on melodic techno. And when the scene reopened after the corona, I moved from the studio to the stages and my dream became a reality.
You’ve been steadily carving your place in the melodic techno scene. What do you think sets your artistic vision apart within such a fast-evolving genre?
Maybe it’s because most DJs become producers later on, I’m the opposite and I produce different genres of music from pop to heavy metal. I know that if I want to be successful, there are no shortcuts, only good, quality work, which is my music and that’s what I want to bring to this community.
Every artist has defining moments — was there a particular turning point where you felt things started to really shift in your career?
This happened when my songs were noticed and played by world-renowned DJs like Paul Van Dyk, David Guetta, Massano, Innellea. I hope it doesn’t end there and one day I’ll be on the same stage with them.
You’ve performed across different countries and scenes. How have international crowds influenced your music and approach to performing?
A good DJs have to be able to read their audience and it doesn’t matter what country they are in. I always try to give 150% of my energy to any crowd and it doesn’t matter what size it is or in which country.
Looking ahead, what’s next after “GAME ON”? Any collaborations, projects, or goals you’re particularly excited about?
Of course, I have new tracks in the works. I am very curious about the reactions of the audience and my listeners. I also want to play more gigs in clubs and festivals to bring joy to the crowd.
