Clash Royale Unveils the Ultimate Holiday Hack: ‘Gift Wrap Gift’

This holiday season, Clash Royale is here to solve one of the most challenging puzzles of the festive season: finding the perfect gift for gamers. With ‘Gift Wrap Gift,’ created by DAVID New York, Clash Royale transforms ordinary wrapping paper into an extraordinary present in itself.

 

Gift Wrap Gift is no ordinary holiday decoration—it’s the first wrapping paper that’s also a gift. Featuring playful, Christmas-themed designs of beloved Clash Royale characters, the paper hides in-game rewards for gamers to unlock. The campaign kicked off by sending the innovative wrapping paper to some of the top influencers in the Clash Royale community.

 

With 55% of holiday shoppers admitting that buying gifts stresses them out, Gift Wrap Gift offers a creative solution that blends thoughtfulness with entertainment.

 

Clash Royale is known for delivering unforgettable in-game moments during the holidays. With Gift Wrap Gift, we wanted to surprise our community by bringing the fun and rewards of the game into a festive, real-world experience.  

 

Upon opening the box, the influencer encountered the most unusual—and not-so-desired—items, such as a pack of coasters, a nail clipper duo, toothpicks, mousepads, and a pair of socks, among others. However, a message explained that the best part is the wrapping paper, where a QR code was printed. After scanning the code, they finally accessed the real gift inside Clash Royale.

 

The campaign launches December 17, 2024, across social media. As part of DAVID New York’s ongoing partnership with Supercell, Gift Wrap Gift blends gaming culture with holiday traditions, making Clash Royale a meaningful part of the festive season in a fresh and tangible way.
