But for this video, I also took it out for street photography to see if it could work beyond the usual portrait test. The TTArtisan 85mm F1.8 NEO is small, light, simple, and much cheaper than most full-frame autofocus 85mm lenses. It has an F1.8 aperture, autofocus, 11 aperture blades, 0.8m close focus distance, 62mm filter thread, and an optical design with 12 elements in 8 groups. This video is not about lab charts or pixel-peeping. I wanted to see whether a cheap 85mm lens could actually be useful for portraits, street details, quiet corners, buildings, colour, and everyday photography.
