Coltrane 100 will draw together recordings originally released on Prestige, Blue Note, Atlantic, Columbia, and Impulse! As a result, the release will span an era that begins with his original professional sessions in 1951 through his final creative explorations before he passed away in 1967.

Bernie Grundman has remastered the tracks, while Coltrane scholar Ben Ratliff has contributed a new essay.
