New SyncPlacement Platform Aims To Simplify Sync Research For Independent Artists

New platform, SyncPlacement, aims to help independent artists, labels and managers identify sync opportunities and research music supervisors.

Innovation Syndicate LLC has launched SyncPlacement, a new software platform focused on music sync research and outreach for independent artists, managers and labels. The platform is designed to help users identify where similar artists have secured placements in film, television and video games, while also providing information on the music supervisors involved in those projects.

The Los Angeles-based company said the service combines placement discovery with contact research, allowing users to search by artist, genre or descriptive keywords to uncover previous sync placements and identify relevant industry contacts. According to the company, the platform uses a live AI-powered search-driven system rather than relying on a static directory model.

A data-driven approach to sync pitching

Sync licensing has become an increasingly important revenue stream for independent musicians as touring income, streaming payouts, and traditional record sales continue to fluctuate. At the same time, competition for placements on television, streaming platforms, and games, as well as in advertising, has intensified. Meanwhile, many of the methods of reaching the necessary stakeholders have not developed at the same pace or scale.

The company says the service is intended to make sync pitching more targeted and informed by helping artists understand where comparable acts have already been used. Rather than approaching supervisors blindly, users are encouraged to build outreach strategies based on existing placement patterns and credits.

SyncPlacement enters a growing market of music business software tools that aim to automate or streamline industry workflows. The platform’s core functionality centres on analysing existing placement history to help users identify potential opportunities based on stylistic or genre similarities. Users can then trace those placements back to specific music supervisors and access verified contact information for outreach purposes.

SyncPlacement gives you access to a large database of music supervisorsExpansion of Innovation Syndicate’s music software portfolio

SyncPlacement is the latest addition to Innovation Syndicate LLC’s portfolio of music industry software products. The company also operates PlaylistSupply, Booking-Agent.io and RadioPromo.io, each focused on different aspects of artist promotion and industry research.

Led by Benjamin Stein and Jannis Deisinger, and based in Encino, California, the company says its products are aimed at helping independent artists improve outreach, research and promotional activity across multiple sectors of the music business.
