What happens when I let the bass line lead | Live Hardware Jam

What happens when I let the bass line lead? This one is deliberately simple. I wanted to see what happens when I let the bass line lead the jam and build everything else around it. For me, the Moog Minitaur is still my favourite synth for bass. It already gets me halfway there before I’ve really done much to it. The weight, the movement and the character are there so quickly that I don’t feel the need to pile lots of extra processing or layers on top. So this video is less about explaining a technique and more about letting the groove develop around the bass. No long breakdown, no step-by-step tutorial. Just a live hardware jam, with the Minitaur doing what it does best while the rest of the setup finds its place around it. Sometimes the right sound means you can do less and still get more out of the music. If you make electronic music live, I’d be interested to know which instrument in your setup gives you that feeling, the one that already sounds “half finished” before you start shaping it. #AnalogKitchen #MoogMinitaur #LiveElectronicMusic #HardwareJam #LiveTechno #Dawless
