Remember when you had your doubts? You still told me, boy, don’t back down I hope I’m making you proud There were days I couldn’t see Who I was supposed to be Now I’m standing in the light You believed in all this time We spend our whole lives Searching for moments like this Waiting for a feeling we don’t wanna miss We spend our whole lives Searching for moments like this And now we’re living in the middle of it We spend our whole lives Searching for moments like this Waiting for a feeling we don’t wanna miss We spend our whole lives Searching for moments like this And now we’re living in the middle of it We spend our whole lives Searching for moments like this We spend our whole lives Searching for moments like this Oh, daddy, can you hear me now? I finally found my way somehow You always told me, son, don’t you ever back down I hope I’m making you proud There were days I couldn’t see Who I was supposed to be Now I’m standing here because You taught me who I was We spend our whole lives Searching for moments like this Waiting for a feeling we don’t wanna miss We spend our whole lives Searching for moments like this And now we’re living in the middle of it We spend our whole lives Searching for moments like this Waiting for a feeling we don’t wanna miss We spend our whole lives Searching for moments like this And now we’re living in the middle of it We spend our whole lives Searching for moments like this We spend our whole lives Searching for moments like this We spend our whole lives Searching for moments like this Waiting for a feeling we don’t wanna miss We spend our whole lives Searching for moments like this And now we’re living in the middle of it
