Grand Alliance Music Debuts ‘NUMINOUS’: A Diverse Tapestry of Bass Music Excellence

Introducing Grand Alliance Music’s midtempo madness off their debut ‘NUMINOUS’ compilation
is the heavyweight hailing from Perth, Australia, the grand samurai of halftime ,Illucid who is
well known for starting the bush’s biggest bass music raves and releases on Pulp Glitchin’
Records, Diffraction Collective and 8Ball Audio.

He returns to the Grand Alliance Music with ‘You Say’, a track filled with out-of-this-world,
earth-enchanting melodies and slaps you in the chest with a pulsating bass like you’ve never
heard before. Start with the compilation’s midtempo section and discover more of the
progression of bass music throughout the remainder of the collection.

Ohio’s Lucas the Flow brings a blend of blissful, bouncy and wet bass that is sure to bring you
the feels. ‘Source Calling’ is a song about Source / God /The Universe calling to us through
music, art, and life itself. This cosmic message comes through in many ways, and the question
posed in the lyrics of the song is if it is loud enough to hear, because we can’t do it on our own
but together in synergy with the Source.

Vsoundz surfaces on this third series as well, the Australian based artist is what multiple people
have called “the wizard of multi genre mixes.” With his arsenal of high-vibrational tracks his
sonic journey transforms even the faint of heart. Be prepared to experience a mixed bag of
feelings and emotions through Vsoundz endless vibes and soul moving bass.

The final artist coming up in this installment is the Boston based artist Mosaiq. He brings a
masterpiece in sound design called ‘Two Left’. This track will immerse the listener in deep wubs,
seamless melodies and will leave feelings as if a co-pilot of a UFO was flying through the
galaxy. Mosaiq is an enigma in the bass music scene and also did the album art for the main
cover and all 5 parts.

The fourth segment of the ‘NUMINOUS’ compilation album invites listeners into a realm of
serene tranquility with its collection of downtempo. Each track unfolds, weaving together lush
harmonies and entrancing rhythms to create a sonic journey of introspection and relaxation.
From dreamy atmospheres to soothing beats, this section captivates audiences with its melodic
charm and evocative ambiance. This is the part where time seems to stand still.

‘Eyes of the Dark’’, from Klamath Falls, Oregon based artist Lucid Slip spring of releases from
Wakaan, Wubaholics and Manic Minds opens this chapter of the compilation with an eloquent
conversation between bright serene sounds and melancholic bass lines. It’s full of dynamic
futuristic noises, rooted in expressing the emotional conflict and balance between light and dark.

Boise, Idaho’s Schuz and Seattle’s own Luke Rain formed a musical bond like no other to bring
us, ‘Hear Me Calling’, the call of mother earth to humanity, asking whether we can hear her
calling out for us to make a change in how we treat our planet. The organic instrumental
melodies and nature sounds in the intro and breaks set the tone of the natural world and the
heavy bass and drums of the drop bring out the cathartic feeling of unease that we hold,
knowing our planet is in peril.

The third and final artist of this piece is one Grand Alliance Music’s own member
Bandersnatch. Hailing from the windy city of Chicago, Bandersnatch delivers us his
newest creations titled, ‘Sennedjem’. This song was the name of an ancient Egyptian
artist, and his name translates to “Servant in the Temple of Truth.”

This release is a close-to-the-heart creation that really showcases the future for the sound of
Bandersnatch and highlights the iridescent energy that is in the air, around all of us, at all
times. The idea here was to connect to these ancient energies of creation, and channel energy
from this ancient Egyptian artist who served from a place of Light and Truth, from heavy subs,
wobbles, and cosmic synthesizer work, this song will leave you feeling like you’re connected to
antiquity.

To cap off the compilation we see Grand Alliance Music’s co-founder, BUTTONZ with Yilo and
fendz from Kalamazoo.

Yilo shares on ‘0 Degrees’, “I wrote this song over the course of a few weeks in December of
2023 and January of 2024 when it was literally 0 degrees outside. This song warmed me up.”

For Yilo, career highlights include sold-out shows supporting Maddy O’Neal & Late Night Radio,
performances at Lost Lands, hitting 100k total plays on SoundCloud, and sharing stages with
acts like Boogie T, Toadface, and DMVU, showcasing Yilo’s experimental fusion of harmonies
and frequencies rooted in love and inspiration from artists like Ganja White Night and Twenty
One Pilots. Upcoming tour dates includes a stop at OneZen Music and Arts Festival in PA, as
Milo Yugen aims to add color to the world through music and art.

“This track is uniquely special to me because Hydra and I have been talking about making a
track for about ten years now and its finally here! “

BUTTONZ, an electronic bass music producer from Southwest Michigan, has left an indelible
mark on the scene, co-founding Grand Alliance Music, sharing stages with acts like Zeds Dead
at Ybar Kzoo in 2013, and gracing the lineup of the inaugural Morflo Music Festival. With
influences ranging from classic rock to underground bass music, BUTTONZ’s captivating sound,

blending intricate sampling and heavy basslines, continues to push boundaries and garner
attention as one of the most promising talents in electronic music.
fendz cuts to the point with his comments around his contribution ‘Mana’, “this project was
named ‘Murder Hat’ for most of its life because that was the name of the high hat sample we
started with.”

Mouth BASS would be joining the group and opened for Rusko, fendz solidified their place in
