After a stacked tour earlier this year and sharing intimate reimaginings from Life Under the Gun, Militarie Gun have unveiled their latest song “Thought You Were Waving.”
The track was created with Zachary Dawes (Lana Del Rey, Sharon van Etten, Bully) and comes with a video that takes place on a ranch compound, where the band are oblivious, then succumb to, its dark undercurrent as the bodies pile up. Besides the new song, Militarie Gun will continue to spend much of the year on the road, including a show at 924 Gilman in July, a handful of festival appearances, and a supporting run with Manchester Orchestra across the U.S. See all the dates here.
