Yesterday marked the one year anniversary of the final Dead & Company show. The August 3, 2025 performance wrapped up the band’s three-night run at Golden Gate Park. Then, just over five months later, Bob Weir passed away, on January 10, 2026.
John Mayer took a few moments to share this thoughts on Weir, in conjunction with Dead & Co.’s final dates, which also featured opening sets and collaborative moments with Billy Strings, Sturgill Simson and Trey Anastasio and Grahame Lesh.
