In early August Sierra Ferrell released her first new music of 2026. Ferrell who is currently on the road with her Heavy Petal Tour then offered the surprise drop of “Trying to Love You.”
She has just followed it up with another new tune. Ferrell wrote “Pair of Dice” with Melody Walker, offering hope in the face of adversity. She is joined on the track by producer Gabriel Kelley (bass, drums, piano, Wurlitzer, B-3, guitars, congas, percussion), Luke Munday (banjo), Billy Contreras (fiddle) and a choir of Kalen Nash, Aslyn Nash, Hannah Marie Kelley, Gabriel Kelley, Bekka Bramlett, Oliver Bates Craven, Geoff Saunders and Josh Rilko.
