Watch: Tedeschi Trucks Band Join The Black Crowes at the Hollywood Bowl

The Black Crowes and Tedeschi Trucks Band are both out on the road continuing their summer tours. Last evening their itineraries aligned for a gig at the Hollywood Bowl. Whiskey Myers, opened the evening, followed by TTB and the Crowes.

TTB’s set opened with a cover of the blues staple “Got My Mojo Workin’.” Then the group offered up “Do I Look Worried” from 2013’s Made Up Mind, followed by “Who Am I” and “Hero” from 2026’s Future Soul. The Let Me Get By (2016) track “I Want More” came next and led into a cover of Frank Zappa’s “Willie the Pimp.” Other highlights included a version of “Bound for Glory” from the group’s debut Revelator (2011), as well as a sequence that moved from a jam featuring sax player Kebbi Williams and drummer Isaac Eady, which moved into Dr. John’s “I Walk on Guilded Splinters,” then Jeff Beck’s “Beck’s Bolero.”

The Black Crowes opened with their classic “Remedy,” which they juxtaposed with “It’s Like That” from their new album A Pound of Feathers. The remainder of their set spanned the group’s career including “Jealous Again,” “Lay It All On Me,”  “Thorn In My Pride,” “Soul Singing,” “She Talks To Angels” and “Twice As Hard.”
